Red Beams and Rice<\/p><\/div>\n

When I’m not carving braces and installing frets, I play music. Red beans and Rice<\/strong><\/a> is a acoustic-based blues duo consisting of myself (Rice) and Dave Hunt (“Red” Beans).<\/p>\n

Red Beans & Rice is a loose affiliation of two \u2014 sometimes three \u2014 \u00a0guys. We’re a (mostly) acoustic duo playing an entertaining and engaging mix of blues, old and new. Mr. Rice (me) plays slide guitar and has been known to howl at the moon. “Red” Beans (Dave Hunt) is a gentler fellow with touch on the guitar that is sweetly complex, and a voice as smooth as butter on a slow burn.<\/p>\n

Mr. Hunt is the proprietor of Vinylhaven Records and Finest Kind Electronics in Brunswick, Maine where you can peruse and purchase fine vintage audio gear and records \u2014 both vinyl and shellac. Mr. Hunt can also bee seen performing with the Blues Buzzards.<\/p>\n
